The University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus, School of Dental Medicine welcomes applications from exceptional candidates for full-time Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (clinical teaching or tenure track) in the Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences and Surgical Dentistry. The primary responsibilities will include didactic and clinical instruction of students and residents, scholarly activities, and service. We are seeking an outstanding individual with excellent leadership skills to contribute to all aspects of our clinical practice, our educational programs, and the research impact of our institution.
The Department of Diagnostic Sciences and Surgical Dentistry is home to four divisions – the Divisions of Periodontics, Endodontics, Diagnostic Sciences, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The successful candidate will be an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, outstanding clinician-educator with interest in, and commitment to clinical care, teaching, and scholarship.
Requirements
This is an open rank clinical teaching or tenure track faculty position and based on experience and qualifications as indicated below. Initial rank is based upon knowledge, achievement, and experience, and with the opportunity for academic promotion based upon demonstrated, ongoing excellence in education, research, clinical care, and community service. Applicants must have a clinical, scholarly, and/or academic record consistent with each SDM Faculty appointment level in the School of Dental Medicine.
A DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited U.S. dental school
Completion in CODA accredited Advanced Dental Residency Program
Eligibility for a Colorado dental license
Applicants must have will usually have teaching experience consistent wtih each SDM Faculty appointment level.
